Pre War BMW 319 Cylinder Block

This very rare cylinder block showing its broken corner / stud hole.

The wall thickness being very thin approximately 3mm. The main problem he was to support the cylinder liner while creating a new cast iron insert incorporating the stud hole and waterway.

Once fitted. To secure using the Surelock Cold Metalstitching repair system. The final picture shows the block on the pressure testing rig being pressure tested.
